Your pantry information and personal data are securely stored using encrypted databases. We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest to protect your information from unauthorised access.

While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your data, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• View all personal information we hold about you
• Update or correct your account information
• Delete individual pantry items at any time
• Delete your PantrySwipe account entirely
• Request removal of all stored personal data

7. Cookies & Analytics

PantrySwipe may collect anonymous usage statistics to help us understand how the app is used and how to improve it. This data is aggregated and does not personally identify you.

You can opt out of analytics collection at any time in Settings → Privacy → Analytics.

8. Children's Privacy

PantrySwipe is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately so we can delete it.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will notify you through the app and update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page.

Continued use of PantrySwipe after changes are made constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
